The aim was to create a sequence of pictogram images depicting a particular subject area.

 

 

I decided on the subject of 'history' and I wanted to show the passing of time in Britain through the pictograms. After developing my ideas I decided to depict various ages of Britain through historical headwear, from the Roman invasion, up to the modern day. The six ages of Britain I chose were: Roman Britain, Medieval Britain, Tudor Britain, Georgian Britain, Victorian Britain and 21st Century Britain. The challenge was to keep the pictograms as simple as possible, but still with enough 'informtion' to make them understandable.
