Ball Game
A seemingly pointless game of ball staring a brilliant yet not so unfamiliar opponent copying your every move.

Scope
The concept for Ball Game originated from the idea of being able to play a game with your former self. I decided to use the mouse cursor as the playing character and have it's position repeated and delayed by 2 second by an opponent. Making a simple game where you tossed a ball back and forth seemed like a good playing-field. The only thing breaking the opponents repetition would be a coded behaviour occasionally making it head for the ball and toss it back to the player. To give the players more character and to disguise the repeated movement I made the cursors “look” at the ball at all times. The result worked flawlessly and was a surprisingly effective and simple way of adding human behavior to an artificially created opponent.
