Cliff Martinez is a highly acclaimed American film score composer and former drummer of Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Cliff Martinez has composed the score of many Hollywood films most notably worth mentioning Traffic and Solaris. The track "Wear Your Seat Belt" is a spherical instrumental piece with a lot of emotion.
Challenge
The purpose of the project was to enhance the audience’s experience of the track “Wear Your Seat Belt” by Cliff Martinez. The challenge was to capture the atmosphere and the mood of the track and transform the essence into an intriguing visual story that links the events in the music to the events in the story created.
Solution
By deconstructing and interpreting the track I transformed the atmosphere and the mood of the track into an unusual story about a giant of unknown origin on a sinister mission of cataclysmic proportions.
