Insight
BLU, part of Fremantle Media, is one of Denmark’s leading production companies and has produced many blockbuster television entertainment shows such as Idols, Thank God You’re Here and X-Factor – all television shows with millions of Danish viewers every week. "Come Sing" is a song quiz featuring celebrities who are to invite people from the audience onto the stage to join them in a duet in the quest for the shows grand prize.
Challenge
BLU wanted a strong visual identity for the introduction of the show and for all the graphical elements in the show. The brief was simply to make the identity entertaining, engaging and refer to the shows stage.
Solution
I helped BLU by directing, designing and producing a visual identity with bright distinctive colours featuring a virtual stage populated with oddly shaped elements. To keep the audience entertained and interested during the program introduction I directed a simple visual plot where all the oddly shaped elements, like pieces of a puzzle, slowly came together in a surprising ending revealing the title of the show.
