Rolling Hills (In Sight of Mountains)

Four years after my first and only visit in this area, I finally managed to photograph it as I had imagined it for a long time. I remember well the first day. It was all cloudy, and raining occasionally. For whatever reason and only about one hour before sunset, I left my car for a little hike, wandering up the hills. Totally unexpected, the low clouds lifted and an amazing sunset happened. Furthermore, it was kind of nice to see that hikers really seemed to enjoy this place, and its beauty.
These images are mainly in the order in which I'd captured them. I’m very glad that the fourth image of this series, the panorama picture, worked out well (the exposure blending was a lot of work, overall I used 28 different images).
