THE CHALLENGE

PRODUCT DESIGN
AS A METAPHOR
FOR CHANGE

This product design project is part of a broader strategic repositioning project of both the brand and its manufacturing company that will be visible across all touchpoints in the coming months.
The Shinobi handles family was born to be the symbol of the company's new positioning.
THE LANDSCAPE

FREEDOM TO EXPLORE:
HOW A SIMPLE OBJECT
BECOMES UNIQUE

In the industrial design panorama there are many types of iconic objects, one of these is certainly the door handle. Handles are one of those products that, compared to others, allow the designer to explore, giving shape to multiple interpretations, not only related to their functionality.
This freedom has given and will give birth to a variety of aesthetic and conceptual possibilities.
PRODUCT

DISRUPTING
THE ICONIC SHAPE.

Shinobi stems from these assumption and wants to be a visual representation of the complex relationship between the physical and digital world that characterizes our age. It is food for thought that becomes form. A cut that disrupts the iconic shape of the handle by capturing the essence of these two elements that try to understand how to build future harmony.

Focusing on the instant
Shinobi is cut but not entirely, it seems about to fall but resists, it invites you to linger on the instant that binds a before and after, creating a moment of pause and disorientation in the observer who encounters the product for the first time.

A wide range of possibilities
This division, which appears incomplete, generates new aesthetic possibilities, thanks to the variations of materials that can satisfy different architectural contexts.
