A Summer Beneath The Trees, Pt. II
[Summer, 2021]
Recently, I was on a little travel to find some rest, and do some nature and landscape photography as well. As I arrived and explored this forest, I was really in doubt to find some balanced views of my own onto it. It was a nice and warm afternoon so I drove by bicycle probably five times from right to the left and vice versa until I was pretty sure that this particular area is the most promising one. As the sun was finally setting, the warm light lightened up the forest below the treetops. It was kind of nice, and looked really different in comparison to my scouting from the hours before. Now looking back, I’m pretty sure I had a lot of luck. It’s probably not that usual that the sun is visible for so long with a clear, and strong red-coloured light. I continued my travel afterwards with another car ride through the night, seeking for a few hours of sleep until next sunrise to hopefully photograph.
