Marico Limited
Annual Report 2017-18
The company wanted a report that was forward and futuristic with respect to the design as well as the content. They wanted the report to capture the innovations that they have been creating in their products which has enabled them to be market leaders.
For this report, we used the greater than sign (>) to denote the forward nature of the company. The sign itself laid the foundation of the visual language of the report- use of sharp angles. We did not want to overuse the greater than sign through the report, so we created a system for the report that was both creative and practical.
The cover was printed use a special metallic paper to create a shimmer effect.
Grid systems
We used a 12 column grid system to create maximum flexibility for layout design, while still ensuring formal sense for the report.
Typography
We used Proxima Nova as the key typeface of the report. The typeface is contemporary and has good readability.
