Pinga Snacks

Pinga
SnackS for every Occasion

Ezee Wholesale had a business opportunity to alleviate the value proposition by creating brands that are perceived as better quality at the as compared to the local brands. Ezee wanted to launch a brand for potato wafers in two flavours in the markets of B and C areas of towns and cities. They decided to call the product Pinga.

THE BRAND CHALLENGE
Buying a snack is an impulse purchase and the attention span for a consumer is limited. The snacking industry is extremely cluttered with big players who trigger consumers impulse purchase with established and authentic taste based value offerings. It became essential that the packaging designed for Pinga had to be attractive and distinctive enough to catch the eye of the consumer in a cluttered market.

The packaging needed to communicate:

•Tempting and vibrant
•Bursting with flavour
•Contemporary with traditional roots
THE SOLUTION
Pinga snacks are flavourful and authentic recipes of good old homely snacks. They awaken memories that leave anyone nostalgic. The concept was derived from memories - `Each Memory Has A Soundtrack Of Its Own`

Pinga snacks are flavourful and authentic recipes of our good old homely snacks that evokes memories and brings nostalgia. Bringing back the memories of occasions, illustrations are used creatively with the visuals to evoke our memories.

The packaging design is developed keeping in mind the target audience of customers and their spending budgets.
“Namkeens” are an essential part of Indian snacks and are consumed during tea time, while watching television/ a cricket match, during journeys etc. The essence of the product is the distinction from other established and leading brands. Keeping in mind the need of the supply chain, a colour palette was devised for each product (flavour). i.e each variant of namkeen has a distinct colour scheme for easy identification.
