CREATIVE BRIEF
SOLUTION
Iconography based on forced random connections of fresh baked bread and a coffee bean in the shape of the head of a wheat stalk paired with typography mirroring the traditional hand written style
Riktig Brød is a Norwegian bakery run by a third-generation baker known for the family bakery located in the old town district of Fredrikstad, Norway. Riktig Brød is known for their rustic breads made in the bakery’s wood-fired oven. The bakery also offers coffee, sandwiches, crispy pizzas, and sweet pastries.
In the tourist season there are often long queues outside the doors of the small, brick bakery. Customers have noted that they absolutely love the bakery but that it’s a little hard to find. The owner thinks now would be a good time to have a sign put up outside and a logo made to represent the bakery and make it easier to find and identify.
The owner would like to keep the new logo very traditional to match the aesthetic of old town Fredrikstad. The logo will be primarily used for the sign hanging outside but they’re open to ideas of what else it can be used for.
