Hopson Elite Basketball Club (founded 2007) provides basketball training, instruction, and AAU basketball to kids in the Northwest Ohio area.  Hopson Elite believes no kid should be excluded from the program based on talent.  Players who earn the privilege to be part of Hopson Elite team practice and train hard.  They are coached and trained to exceed their personal beliefs about how good of a player they are and can be. Kids are taught the value of hard work and pushing themselves to succeed on and off the court through nutrition, mentoring, and life skills to use beyond their basketball career.

Founder and coach Dennis Hopson retains the record of Ohio State University All-Time leading scorer, averaging 29 points a game, and was the 3rd overall NBA draft pick in his 13 year professional basketball career that included being a part of the Chicago Bulls' NBA championship winning season in 1990-1991.
