Assignment: Identity, Web
Situated in the middle of western Zealand’s scenic countryside, the long-established Saltoftehus Estate of 1844 still operates as an active modern agriculture, but has also expanded its activities to include conference center fascilities and accomodations.

Re-public has developed a new online platform for Saltoftehus, and in connection, a comprehensive visual identity, which applies both to the conference center and general estate. The project includes a new logotype, re-design of the estate crest, and the development of a new communication strategy and website for the conference business.

The identity is inspired by the contrasted conditions that define Saltoftehus; modern corporate activities and business on one hand – and peaceful, rural countryside and agriculture on the other. To reflect this harmonious relationship, the design combines elegant typography and a simple monochrome color palette, with large scale evocative photography as the primary expressive element.

In the design of the website, information and textual content is structured in a simple, graphic and easily manageable expression – and large scale images are prioritized to best show the attractive sorrunding nature. All content is clearly structured, with a limited number of menu items and sub pages. On the front page, high-priority information is gathered for quick overview, which immediately offers a summary of Saltoftehus' services, qualities and values.
