Nina Ricci - La rue

role — Graphic Designer      agency — TBWA      year — 2012

In order to promote the Nina Ricci's new handbag collection – La rue – TBWA Paris created a GIF Art campaign. With Jean-Michel Falligan Devergne as the lead Art Director, we imagined and shoot four scenes in emblematic places in Paris. Drawing inspiration from images of this poetic escapade, English artist Jo Ratcliffe enriches them with her modern, delicate illustrations. Then we combined the illustrations and the videos to create four animated GIFs which portray the perpetual movement of the street, of life, of fashion – and pay homage to the refined and feminine universe of the Maison Nina Ricci.

The talented London illustrator Jo Ratcliffe created these storyboards representing four atmospheres.

“[Within] the Promenade Plantée – Paris’s answer to the High Line – it appears soft and romantic, while on the Rue de Verneuil on the Left Bank, it is bewitching and bold. Chic and charismatic on the Avenue Montaigne, it becomes mysterious and elusive at Pigalle,” reads the write-up.
