“Houston, can you hear me?” - Sculpture installation by Hana Hillerova at the People Mover, Terminal A, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston

The 19 colorful powder coated aluminum sculptures of ʻStarsʼ, ranging from two to eight feet in diameter, are suspended on cables at various lengths from the ceiling above the escalators. The experience of passing through the sculpture installation is that the passengers became astronauts traveling through a galaxy. Passengers are instantly reminded of where they are: Houston, the city known for being instrumental in the exploration of the outer space.
