When porcelin emerging from the final fire it becomes very durable but fragile at the same time.
To capture this dual nature I put the material in a situation when it has to handle extrem heat and I shape
it in a way it represents the fragility of its nature. The result is a simple cube for candles. A warm box for cold nights.

From the individual pieces you can build your own compositions. All pieces are handmade and unique, different in hight and the edges are uncertain. Perfect imperfection it is, that I don't mean to controll.
