Scope
The task was to redesign the website of IMDb, the worlds most comprehensive online movie database, by providing a visual pitch for a film page. The challenge was to improve, reorganize and simplify the delivery of the enormous amount of information and media provided and make the website appeal to both hardcore and causal users. The result was achieved by designing a low-key, striped down layout favoring content and by designing a navigation based on content filters allowing both hardcore and casual users to select information and features based on personal preference.
