Credit Card Application
Brastemp is one of the most famous and respected appliances brand in Brazil. It's owned by Whirlpool. My second challenge at the company was to design its new credit card application page.
Scenario
In order to continue with our journey improvements, starting with the landing page, I had to review the card application flow and properly understand how to change the information hierarchy, texts and UI. Our main objective was to improve the user experience and increase the conversion rate (which means: the amount of new card holders).
Previous numbers and issues
❌ Flow with too many steps
❌ Visually overloaded with background color
❌ Bad experience with modal scrolling
This flow has a funnel-style measurement. And here are some data:
16,400 go until the first step then abandon the flow
6,900 complete the steps and send the proposal
4,300 request their card after the approval

New version improvements
⚡️ Shorter and better set flow
⚡️ Clearer step indicator
⚡️ Visually lighter with good space arrangement
Here are the new data findings:
⬇15% first step abandonment
⬆22% proposal completion
⬆19% on card request
