Marvin Bratke is German architect and designer, currently based in Berlin. He is Co-Founder of BART//BRATKE Studio, a design collaborative invested in the development of architectural environments integrating synthetic ecologies with shifting material states and electronic information infrastructures. He has received his diploma in architecture top of the semester at Fritz Frenkler’s chair of industrial design at Technical University of Munich [TUM] in June 2011. His ongoing research and design ambitions are focused on emergent technologies in architecture and industrial design, the digital methodology relating both professions and their application in performance-orientated, mobile and ecological building systems. Currently Marvin is working as Senior Designer at MLAUS (Mediterranean Laboratory for Architecture and Urban Strategies) and as Design Architect at GRAFT, an international architectural practice based in Berlin, Los Angeles and Bejing, which was established as a network of creative minds, exploring frontiers that merge future technologies with the patterns of organisation found in nature. His creations and ideas are greatly influenced by cultural, biological and technological environment with social aspects of 21st century context. Read Less
