This is a logo concept for the startup I am working on with afew other Northwestern friends. Our startup is focusing on solvingour day-to-day problems through the creation of web applications,but we would love to move into other areas as well.
Our company name is Probity, which means the quality of havingstrong moral principles; honesty and decency.
When I was designing the logo, I tried to think of the whateveryone is the group shared. After some deep thought, I realizedthat the answer was right in front of me, in the form of aquestion. Now on the surface a question mark might not seem thatimportant, but a closer look reveals a lot more.
How do one begin solving a problem? By asking questions. Howdoes one learn? By asking questions.
I believe there is something symbolic about having the questionmark at the beginning of the logo, since we always start out byasking questions.
