Wild! Wild! Chicks

Wild! Wild! Chicks was a slot game design I worked on featuring a lot of goofy cartoon barn animals getting up to mischief. It got deep into the design and art asset creation process but was unfortunately cancelled before brought to completion.
The base game went through multiple re-designs, some leaning on a more edgy party scene that came from attempts to use jokes around 'Chicks' going 'Wild', but it ended up at a nice story book kind of barn setting that I really liked complete with dry brush stroke paint textures.
The symbols also had fun reveals in their animations where you would see what sort of antics the animals were up to. I was happiest with the beefy cow, complete with flexing butt cheeks.
One of the two bonuses you could go into was the Beach Party Bonus. Here you would pick beach umbrellas to reveal either flat prize items, chicks which you'd want to gather all four of for a big payout, or the bull beach patrol that could end the party early.
The second bonus was a Spin the Bottle Bonus. Here you would pick a chick to see a prize value, spin the bottle, and the other chick it landed on would apply a multiplier. I had fun coming up with a couple of chick characters for this part with good pun names shown below along with some diving chicks used in a smaller feature where chicks would be added to the reels during game play.
Finally, the bonus that also shared the name of the game: Wild! Wild! Chicks! where all the chick symbols on screen could turn wild. The animation for this one was also pretty fun to work on, getting the chicks to shake their little butts and all.
