Smokin' Hot Dice

Smokin' Hot Dice was a game I worked on as the main artist while working at Multimedia Games. It was a very straightforward theme, centering around dice games, and we hoped to capture some of the neon glow and party atmosphere of Las Vegas. The unique challenge with this project was working with the lead programmer on it to figure out how to simulate the dice roll in the bonus game.
Above is a mock up of the main game screen, some art may have been adjusted by release. Notably the game symbols ended up in a slightly different spot but I wanted to showcase these ones based off of games that also used the Smokin' Hot title in their names.
Here's a mockup of the bonus game screen. There was a lot of discussion regarding how to best fit so much information from the dice awards.

Lastly here's a small piece of unfinished art from the early drafts that I still liked. I originally pitched a few versions that included more variety of neon signage.
