Adobe XD Demo Assets
Learn While I Do

Almost every company has used an Adobe product but most are unaware of their newest tool, Adobe XD. Adobe sales reps provide their enterprise clients personalized XD demos but felt the generic files they used weren't relatable.

Adobe approached my agency to create three distinct design files: an enterprise dashboard, an e-commerce website, and an IT admin dashboard to showcase the power of XD and its capabilities. Only problem, I hadn’t used XD myself!
Working Backwards!

Since the focus of this project was to showcase XD's capabilities, I had to work backwards. Instead of starting with user research, I started with brainstorming ways to display interactions and animations that would leave a lasting impression to enterprise partners.
Pretending Can Be Liberating

After I understood what I wanted to showcase in the UI, I focused on storytelling. I conjured up make-believe companies, design challenges, and personas that made the design file feel like a real and relatable project. This was liberating since I got to experience a project without any product requirements or development constraints.
“This demo/use case has been very well received with a broad range of partners and agencies.”

From Sketch User to Adobe XD Advocate

After completing three XD design files, I haven't gone back to Sketch.

The XD file has not only converted myself but dozens of enterprise design teams. How do I know this? 1 year after creating this file, I became an Adobe XD instructor, teaching enterprise partners XD and how it can streamline their workflow. Now, I'm able to utilize the design files I created in my sessions.
