I was approached by local photographers First Photographics to update their current website. The original website had some links missing, it was a bit unorganised and some pages were still in the coming soon stages. The client wanted an updated and fully functional website. They were currently happy with their style and colour scheme but just wanted more up to date features and working links.
I took inspiration from the original layout and modified it for a more contemporary look. The client offers a lot of services and didn't want to many pages where customers may get bored. With this in mind I sectioned services off into appropriate sections and condensed them into smaller numbers of pages.
I didn’t want to make the website too busy therefore I decided to create GIFs with photos rather than using a slideshow or gallery – this way the client could look at the website rather than having to navigate through multiple photos. I used the theme of GIFs throughout the website where appropriate.
Service titles for the website. I created titles and tag lines to make them more engaging and to give a small description of each service.
