Brief:
This project was a college initiated brief to create a brand and packaging for an everyday consumer product, more specifically to find a product where the current packaging could be improved. The brand needed to be eye-catching and appeal to a specific target market. Once the brand was finalised I had to create packaging for the product that took into account environmental concerns, wastage and recyclability.

For this project I decided to target the health and beauty industry, more specifically hand soap. I realised that every hand soap dispenser was made of plastic and that little or none of it could be recycled. Therefore I decided to create a series of products that could be recycled and reused. I created three products - a tetra pak soap dispenser that could be used with a metal pump or used to fill a ceramic reusable soap dispenser, a ceramic soap dispenser that could be reused over and over again, and a soap bar packaging that can be used as a reusable soap dish.
