" COCO & BO: OUR FIRST VISITORS" - ORIGINAL BRIEF

The film opens in a tropical garden in the early morning. We see a ladybird climbing up a leaf. A swallow flutters into picture and perches on a branch above the ladybird. The ladybird looks upwards and opens his wings to fly but can only flutter a short distance above the leaf. The swallow flutters down and burrows in the ground, beckoning the ladybird to climb onto its back. The ladybird climbs onto the swallow and they take off. We see the gradual ascent from the ladybird's point-of-view-the cascading Rain Vortex waterfall, Forest Valley gardens, shops and cafes. But as they fly upwards, a Skytrain speeds past and backdraft sends the swallow into a tailspin. The ladybird slips off the swallow's back and flies through the air. The ladybird's fall is broken by the Sky Nets, where he lands and walks along a rope but slips through and falls downwards to the Discovery Slide.

Meanwhile... the swallow lands inside the maze and for a moment is dazed and confused. She flie upwards and discovers that she has been lost in the Hedge Maze. Back to our ladybird, who lands on the top of the Discovery Slide slides helplessly downwards, landing on a bush next to some cafes.

Meanwhile, the swallow goes in search of her missing friend. She flutters into an empty shop and think she's found the ladybird. She flies to him and instead bump into a window. It's actually a ladybird earring.

Back to the ladybird, who is disturbed by the hiss of an espresso machine being turned on in a cafe. He is rattled by the vibration and tumbles off the leaf falling downwards to the ground below.

From her vantage point, the swallow sees her little friend tumbling and sets off to save him. She swoops down and cushions the ladybird's fall. Together, they fly to the rooftop and the ladybird finally gets to see the wondrous vista of Jewel Change Airport from up on high.
