Since 2018 I have served as the primary graphic designer for award-winning documentary production house The Cinemart, producing over 30 presentation pitch deck for Premium Documentary Films and TV Series, as well as their investor deck. Some of the more notable projects of theirs include the viral 2019 Fyre Fraud documentary on Hulu that got an exclusive interview with Billy McFarland and their acclaimed 2017 series with Jay-Z about Kalief Browder.
The team’s 360 degree approach to filmmaking has generated indelible projects and earned them four EMMY nominations, two IDA nominations, a special honor from the Television Academy and a PEABODY AWARD. The Cinemart consistently goes to market with competitive projects that delicately factor popular trends, celebrity attachments and an authentic purpose-driven, socially conscious integrity.
Below are two examples of decks I have made for them. Gen Why?, a series about Millennials, was developed to reflect contemporary flat web design with extra wide font choices and bright colors (which is juxtaposed with The Cinemart's sharp B&W branding). Post-Truth was done in partnership with The Washington Post and was designed to reflect the newspaper style of The Washington Post and the cutting edge design of The New York Times Magazine.
