After viewing my analog lenticular illusory artwork for Sontag Shogun's album art, NYC based label PTP commissioned me to create illusory line art for their forthcoming album from Nima Aghiani's 'REMS' and to adapt it for cassette printing.
"An acronym for Rapid Eye Movement Sleep, the drone, noise and power electronics project emulates Aghiani’s sense of being in a “constant lost state of being, in-between full consciousness and deep sleep.” Tracks titled ‘Khatozar,’ ‘Ibbothal’ and ‘Kah-Gash’ crawl through a terror-filled perception of a life on the edge panic, while ‘Oucyl’ creaks and croaks in a hazy cylinder of unrelenting tones." - AQNB
