TWINKIES – Redesigned
Hostess is an American originated brand,
which has been on the market for almost
100 years in 2018. For Americans, Hostess
is a brand name that drums up nostalgia
and a snack which made dramatic phenomena
for those who hear it, but not for Canadians.
To the Canadian market, Hostess is considered
a sweets retail company with nothing special.
High sugar source within the Hostess products
are not beneficial for health, but good for leisure
time and party food choices. The current market
trend favours low sugar, low fat (or zero trans fat)
and low sodium products. Thus, healthier light
sugar version of Hostess should be introduce
to the Canadian market.
