Tile Pixel – Sub-Brand Packaging
TILE – Pixel
Tile is a small tracking device that can be attached to
virtually anything. It is targeted towards people who lose
things often and provides a peace of mind to owners of
valuable belongings.

Currently, Tile is positioned exclusively towards forgetful,
tech-savvy adults. We wanted to create a sub-brand of
Tile called Pixel, which targets a youth demographic,
aged 10 - 16. This demographic tends to be just as forgetful
as adults, and forget daily valuables like keys, lunch
bags, and backpacks. Kids aged 10 - 16 also start to own
more expensive belongings, like phones, tablets, and laptops,
which are at a risk of being forgotten, or misplaced.

Pixel is targeting parents aged 25 - 45 to purchase Pixel
for their children. The current tile design is quite simple
and bland, which is unappealing to a younger audience.
That is why we chose to modify it into subtle, game-inspired
key chains, that are not only functional but can be
a fashionable accessory. They are also designed to look
like simple key chains, and so are less likely to be precautionary
removed in a theft scenario.
