Vertigo Magazine, 2016
Creative Director
Each year, a new design and editorial team is tasked with creating a unique identity for Vertigo, UTS’ student-run magazine. Our incarnation of Vertigo was to curate a 100-page binding that was both beautiful but punchy, sophisticated but also experimental. This bi-monthly publication became our greatest editorial accomplishment, and each volume manifested a new idea, attitude and punch that reflected contemporary challenges and milieus.
As co-creative director, our vision of Vertigo was to be inclusive and diverse – values that resonated throughout our university life. With over 85 contributors for each volume, Vertigo 2016 became more than just a student publication, but rather a manifesto of voices and ideas.
