Background: A platform is required for managing the performance of all the website(s) of Akamai's customers not only of Akamai configurations but also other key attributes without which the sites would show poor performance. In order to achieve this, an alerting mechanism for key indicators and constantly monitoring of the sites would make a difference. The analysis of every website or a URL has to be set up from an admin panel which in itself is an application.

Objective: Design an application for a good alerting mechanism of all the key performance indicators showing Site Monitor, Site Analysis, and Wall to wall as the main flow to the app. Create an application to manage the analysis and schedules of each website and URL(s) to enable the analysis. Design comprehensive report of weekly and monthly as a main sellable component.

Understanding of use cases was the key in every design sprint. Delivered wireframes, recommendations based on the design methodologies and user research, visual designs, prototypes and worked closely with various developers to the success of each feature and delivery.

Multiple email notifications were designed to the closed groups to test the flow and usability initially and then to the actual users to further continue to get the feedback.

Designing of comprehensive reports ( not shown below due to NDA ) was very iterative and each time the team has learned something new. The reports had to be in the PDF format. Phantom JS had issues in terms of scaling and alignment. Helped the development team in conducting several POC's. Worked closely with the product owner(s), project managers to deliver the PDF reports successfully. Laid hands in a bit of Javascript edits, charts and Django templates.
