Design Objective:
Design a box set of three novels from a famous classic author. Each book must be cohesive when displayed as a set, but should also be able to stand independent from each other. The book set must have a modern style and look visually pleasing.
Design Brief:Franz Kafka wrote The Metamorphosis, The Castle, and The Trial. Simple, graphically reduced illustrations are featured on the front of each book to represent the conflict that each protagonist is facing. The color palette of each book symbolizes the mood of the story. The typeface that was used throughout the branding was American Typewriter. This was used because it gives off the effect of the time period that these books were written in.
