Design Objective:
Create a pharmaceutical brand identity for a new drug on the market. Additional collateral include a microsite, email blast, and identity package.
Design Brief:
Aspimara is an antidepressant for adults and children. Simple line work was utilized to showcase the emotions often described with depression. The line work starts with a chaotic pattern that eventually evens out. The mark is designed to show how a patient might feel before and after using Aspimara. A gradient is also placed within the line that goes from a dark blue to a coral pink to reference depression relief through color form. The typeface used in the branding is a sans serif typeface that has graceful curves in the leg of the ‘m’ and the stem of the ‘a’. The organic features of the typeface pair nicely with the curvilinear line work of the mark.
