New Year greeting
The New Year means a new card in our Oriental Collection. This time the Card is dedicated to a year of Dog (2018), yellow earth dog. It tells about one of the most important parts of the dog’s life that is just tolerated by humans and is considered to be disgusting. However, this is communication, the way dogs understand it and appreciate it. And yes, it is often about yellow color, earth, and territory. Happy New Territory is not only a wish to travel and explore the huge world around us but also a desire to get new knowledge and experience.
The style of the Card is based on contrasts: recycled paper and gold, physiology and pixels, overall simplicity and extravagant font.
Peeing Card is a New Year greeting and part of Oriental Collection – a self-promotional project that is supposed to last 12 years and includes 12 greeting cards representing 12 symbols according to Chinese Zodiac. Style of this project is a mix of cultures and times.
Peexel Font
typography game
So-called Peexel Font was created especially for Peeing Card and its idea is to avoid any repeating of the identical letters. Using this font is like playing the game. One can not simply write the word – the word needs to be created at first. It has the start only and no end at all while the font is in use. Peexel Font is physiologically spontaneous and ornamentally abstract.
