Milwaukee Bike Company Redesign Concept

The Milwaukee Bike Company Brand Re-Design Concept

This concept was designed to update an already existing identity for a local Milwaukee bicycle company. The original logo(s) varied in impact and importance to the overall integrity of the company. I wanted to make the logo have more visual impact along with giving one unifying identity (because the brand currently had a few). The final concept involved an iconic crank image mixed with a modified and modern typeface that helped to both establish image and relevance within the bike culture.

Beyond the logo was creating apparel, products, and environmental graphics that would display the new brand identity for Milwaukee Bike Company. Reviewing their current merchandise along with other relevant sources I defined products and a need for environmental store and display graphics. The overall goal of these secondary branding materials was to convey a unison between the company, the product and their work. I wanted to take something that had lost a lot of informational clarification and begin to help people reconnect with it more. Along with this project I developed a trade show exhibit concept to emphasize the need for branding emphasis. The trade show exhibited the Milwaukee Bike Co. as an identity and a strong brand product.
