The Pan-Canadian Media Arts Summit entitled Impulse/Impulsion is a professional event presented by la Bande Vidéo with the support of the independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) and the Quebec City media arts centres (Antitube, Avatar, and Spira). Designed to address current issues in relation to media arts, the Summit is a rare opportunity to gather a community usually dispersed across a wide territory.
The brand features independent artist works made with electromagnetic and mechanical impulses (light and images, waves and sounds). MamboMambo developed a graphical vector system to investigate and reveal reality, media artists trigger various impulses that transform our view of the world.
