Public Awareness Campaign
Addison Public Library's goal was to appeal to a diverse audience as target patrons. An updated brand that reflected its progressive and inclusive nature was needed. Bold photography depicting the many walks of life who could benefit from the library were showcased.
For the new Website, clear and easy navigation, drop-downs, and a site search made it simple for users to find exactly what they are looking for...fast. Event and program promotional areas were incorporated to keep visitors coming back. The ability to create a personal account to keep track of library activities such as current books checked out, overdue books, and fees was incorporated to make the site more functional. Administration tools were built to help library personnel keep the site up-to-date.
The print campaign included newsletters, postcards, and large format posters that were placed in lucite holders on the back of rest room doors throughout the community of Addison.
