MightyData specializes in the coaching, training, consulting, and development of custom Filemaker applications. After 15 years, it was time for a new logo and a cohesive branding strategy. The new MightyData brand needed to be modern, technology-oriented and express the playfulness of the company's personality. They had an industry tradeshow in less than 2 months and wanted to launch the new brand at that time.

The logotype
utilizes the foundation of a traditional four-square grid, but takes the conventional and turns it on its side. The initial M interconnects the shapes within the negative space, representing MightyData's deep and thorough understanding of the industry and the technology. The arrow shape at the bottom of the icon suggests not only the D for Data, but also action and progress. This concept is reiterated with the use of the small red arrow inside the D of the wordmark.

The Website is clean, simple, and utilizes playful photography to communicate the primary message for each section. An animated promotional area on the homepage highlights important areas of the site.

The tradeshow promotions, including an email campaign, program ad, promotional flyer, and several banners focused on a special offer MightyData was promoting at the show...30 minutes of free coaching. An athletic jersey became the canvas for getting the message out.
