With the launch of Lexiscan, the time had come to create an online physician speaker presentation tool, specifically taking into consideration real-world feedback from physicians who had used a similar tool for one of Astellas' other cardiology products. The tool, developed as a desktop application, was designed with a great deal of flexibility, allowing speakers to customize their presentations using a number of approved online slide libraries.
