Employee Handbook Guide

Client‘s request: create an A5 handbook guide for the company’s internal communications team, collating best practice information and company processes for regular day-to-day use.

As the content was likely to develop and date, I pitched the idea of a hardback book with embedded sleeves, to allow for re-printing of specific pages which meant the client could replace content as and when needed:
I made use of the company’s branded pictos, particularly on the front cover image to represent the communication channels the team use and create internal recognition.
It proved a tough challenge to incorporate all the various information required into the guide. To bring the guide ‘to life’ I sourced a range of stock photography images and spread out the content across 26-pages to help break up the text and create an engaging look and feel.

Through a spacious layout and the use of descriptive images, I provided an easy to follow design in full compliance with the company’s branding requirements. Due to confidentiality, I’m restricted on what I can add online, but here’s a snapshot of one of the spreads for a taster:
