Experimental Film "Kaka Kauruvi Kadhai"
“Crow sparrow story” is a student film by Aishwarya Arumbakkam.
The story is about a family of a father, the mother (a cow) and their two children (a boy and his story.) One day a crow steals the boy’s story and they set out to find him. I was asked to help develop sets and props for the characters. The entire production was done on a shoestring budget on campus.

The character masks and props used were made using simple,easy to find and affordable resources.
The distinct characters of the cow and crow were given one signature prop for their identity. The film is silent, so visuals are the main mode of communication. It conveys the story using a lot of metaphors and strange visuals and cuts to convey the confusion and chaos of how the story also changes its versions with time.
