Identity Design 
Irika Tours is a travel and tour startup that aims to provide personalized and exclusive holiday packages primarily in India and Sri Lanka. They are a one stop shop where you can come to and they will provide an array of holiday plans depending on your inclinations and desires, make the arrangements and ensure that you have a glitch free trip.

Irika literally translates into “ Little Earth”. The wanted the logo to reinstate they specialize in tours in India and Sri lank, but still have the possibility to expand in the future. They wanted something without any colloquial symbols or cliched signifiers of India and travel Icons. They felt the name and qualifier has enough to tell people it’s a tour company.

The identity is very crisp and clean without using too many colours or elements. The colour of the ribbon complements those of the globe while still standing out as a separate element. The ribbon going around the globe also symbolizes Irika’s vision to be a tour company that is flexible and moulds tours around the requirements of the clients rather than fit their clients into standard packages. Using a Globe centered around India makes it clear where their focus lies while still keeping the option to expand available.



For the blog I added a Simple tessellation as an element to give the identity a subtle edge that was generic, and also has roots in Indian Architecture, Printmaking, Art and Culture as a theme to liven it up a little.
