Contextual Enquiry And Affinity
This was a class project to understand way finding techniques in India. The contextual enquiry was done in tier 1 and tier 2 cities with around 54 users. Tourist locations were used t understand how people understood way finding in newer locations as well.
My focus area was on how people use way finding while searching for for products or services in particular.
After the data was collected and a affinity map was built. Design recommendations were given.
User from different age, gender, social strata, educational background groups were selected for the exercise
.
All the observations were broken down into different categories for the affinity.
The final document contained demographic data, problems areas, areas where technology failed and design recommendation for Indian context
