Black Cube
Black Cube is an experimental art museum that operates nomadically, celebrating art around the world by bringing it close to its spectators and their everyday lives. Black Cube finds itself in constant movement by bringing art and exploring new emerging ideas around the world without the boundaries of a permanent physical location. It collaborates with individual artists from all over the world, showcasing their work and promoting art appreciation in an accessible and relaxed environment. The black container, which served as inspiration for the project name, travels along for pop-up art exhibitions and functions as the museum’s shop carrying collectible pieces and conceptual objects based on Black Cube's current exhibitions.
Our brand proposal was thought out as a design that could coexist with any art style. The neutral personality of the typography and color palette answer harmoniously within the context in which they are presented. The brand geometry expresses inspiration from the project and complements itself with an icon that lives in movement along with the project’s constant geographic relocation.
Black Cube es un museo nómada que celebra el arte alrededor del mundo de una forma cotidiana y cercana con sus espectadores. El proyecto, vive en movimiento constante llevando arte y explorando nuevas propuestas emergentes alrededor del mundo sin un espacio físico determinado. Colabora con artistas de cualquier parte del mundo para dar a conocer su trabajo y promover la apreciación del arte de una manera más cercana y relajada. El contenedor negro, de donde surge la idea de nombrar el proyecto, es justamente el espacio que acompañará sus exhibiciones nómadas y servirá como depósito de piezas coleccionables u objetos conceptualizados alrededor de las diferentes exhibiciones que la gente podría adquirir.
El diseño de la marca esta diseñado para poder coexistir con cualquier estilo de arte. Así, la neutralidad de la tipografía y paleta de color responderán armónicamente al contexto con el que se presente. La geometría de la marca plasma la inspiración del proyecto y se complementa con un ícono que vive en movimiento junto con traslado geográfico del proyecto.
