Capitol Couture
To commemorate the final installment of The Hunger Games franchise, Watson/DG completely reinvented Capitol Couture, bringing audiences a final issue bold enough to support one of the biggest and most widely-anticipated films of 2015.
Capitol Couture is breaking the mold once again with Ultima Volatus an issue solidifying their mission to preserve self-expression even if it means defying the Capitol. Flaunting a fiery red Katniss Everdeen on the cover (a very provocative move) the issue features a revealing exposé about the controversial victor, supported by fashion editorials on the latest trends in Panem. The issue also contains special shoots with Capitol Couture Contributor, Susanne Bartsch, in partnership with Samsung; as well as a reimagined video series, Inside Capitol Couture, featuring fashion, makeup and DIY tutorials from some of the most popular YouTube stars today.
Ultima Volatus allowed us to further and expand the breadth of the digital campaign, and became instrumental to the lead up to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. Capitol Couture has always had the power to rally together fans, and this issue was created especially for those who have been there since the beginning; providing a fitting finale as we celebrate their dedication and loyalty to this transformative story.
