Porto (typo)Gráfico procura, através do caso da Baixa do Porto, refletir sobre a forma como a tipografia presente nos espaços públicos urbanos pode facilitar a percepção e compreensão da cidade e como o património (tipo)tráfico pode contribuir para a qualidade da paisagem urbana.
Using the case of Porto's downtown, Porto (typo)Gráfico reflects how typography in the urban public spaces can help the perception and understanding of the city and how typographic heritage can contribute to the urban landscape quality.

Este trabalho foi realizado no âmbito da disciplina de Ilustração do 1.º ano do mestrado em Design Gráfico e Projetos Editorais (Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto) sob orientação de Júlio Dolbeth.
Porto (typo)Gráfico parte da investigação realizada no âmbito da pós-graduação em Tipografia Digital pela ESAD – Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Matosinhos onde apresentei o projecto final intitulado "Espaços Públicos Urbanos - Leituras e Representações através da Tipografia" sob orientação de Andrew Howard (ESAD – Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Matosinhos) e Ian Noble (London College of Printing, Londres).
This work was developed during the classes of Illustration discipline in the 1st year of the master's degree in Graphic Design and Project Editorials (Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto) under Júlio Dolbeth supervision.
Part of the research was carried out during the post-graduate studies in Digital Typography (ESAD - College of Arts and Design, Matosinhos) where I developed the project entitled "Urban Public Spaces - Readings and Representations through the Typography " under supervision of Andrew Howard (ESAD - College of Arts and Design, Matosinhos) and Ian Noble (London College of Printing, London).
