Rise Up: A Scientific Interface foi um espaço onde, durante a hora do almoço, os participantes na KISMIF! International Conference "Crossing Borders of Underground Music Scenes" e na Summer School "Getting' Underground Together" poderiam apresentar os seus trabalhos (um livro, uma revista ou fanzine, um álbum, um filme, um instrumento DIY, etc) de uma forma descontraída e mais informal.
Rise Up: A Scientific Interface was a moment where, during the lunch time, the participants in the KISMIF! International Conference "Crossing Borders of Underground Music Scenes" and Summer School "Getting' Underground Together" could present their works (a book, a magazine or a fanzine, a record, a film, a home-made instrument, etc) in a more relaxed and informal way.
Procurando ilustrar o universo underground e a cultura DIY desennvolvi um poster com base numa tipografia desenhada através da técnica de stencil. Contudo, aqui o stencil não foi executado com tinta sobre uma qualquer superfície mas antes com luz projetada numa parede. Desta forma procurei obter um efeito difuso, mais orgânico e propício ao erro.
Trying to illustrate the underground universe and DIY culture I've developed a poster based on typography designed by the stencil technique. However, the stencil wasn't made with paint on a surface but with light projected on a wall. Thus I tried to get a blured and fluid effect favorable for errors.
