Texas A&M University "shared ad," 2014 version
Background: Philanthropic giving to Texas A&M University primarily comes through four fundraising groups. The Texas A&M Foundation (major endowed gifts); The Association of Former Students (annual fund); the 12th Man Foundation (athletics); and the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation. The four groups operate independently of one another and the university, but there is a desire to clarify our roles among the donor base. This advertisement is part of an initiative to achieve that goal.
My roles in this production: Conceived the idea; wrote the copy; coordinated with my counterparts at the 12th Man Foundation, The Association of Former Students and the Bush Foundation to secure their input and approvals; directed the layout with the graphic designer; oversaw placement in external and internal publications.
