ADVERTISING: 2013 "Big Solutions" series

2013 "Big Problems / Big Solutions" series
Advertisements to depict Texas A&M University's role in solving major world issues
Background: Texas A&M University is in the planning stages of a multi-billion-dollar comprehensive campaign. As opposed to seeking funds for particular items such as scholarships, endowed chairs, buildings, etc., the outreach effort will be predicated on how the university is addressing significant societal issues. Over the course of the past several months, the campaign committee has been working with stakeholders across campus to define these overarching themes: improving health, building democracy, dealing with a changing environment, promoting enterprise, developing sources of energy, and increasing STEM education. This ad series, in conjunction with matching videos, is designed to build awareness of these areas prior to the official kickoff.

My roles in this project: Conceived the idea; wrote the copy; oversaw graphic layout; coordinated with the various members of the campaign marketing committee to secure input and approval. Coordinated with vendors for placement in print publications such as the football program, sports magazines and campus directory.
