Background: Texas A&M University is preparing to launch a multi-billion-dollar comprehensive campaign. As opposed to seeking funds for particular items such as scholarships, endowed chairs, buildings, etc., the outreach effort will be predicated on how the university is addressing significant societal issues. Over the course of the past year, the campaign committee has been working with stakeholders across campus to define these overarching themes: improving health, building democracy, dealing with a changing environment, promoting enterprise, developing energy and increasing STEM education. This 8-part video series, in conjunction with matching print ads, is designed to build awareness of these areas prior to the official kickoff.
 
My roles in this project: Conceived the series, scope and storyline; pitched the idea to counterparts from the other funding organizations and the university; gathered assets from around the university and through stock sources; directed a freelance video editor as he cut the 6 base pieces plus two additional ones that open and close the series; secured approval from all participants for release; coordinated play at home football games and posting on social media.
